The JetSki activity is inherently hazardous, and our guests may be exposed to dangers, including some of the following: unpredictable ocean currents, lightning, hypothermia, hostile or aggressive wildlife, and negligence of others.

To minimize the risks for Skidaddle Jetski and it's guests, Skidaddle Jetski maintains strict JetSki Tour acceptance criteria and safety rules.

​

• Guests can participate as a passenger when they are over 12 years old and can swim.

• Guests over 18 years can participate as a driver with proper ID.

• All participating guests above 12 and under 18 years old can only participate under adult supervision (Adult driver).

• All participating guests should be in good health at the time of the tour, and not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Skidaddle Jetski  does not recommend participation for people with disabilities such as deafness or hearing impairment, heart problems, epilepsy, problems of continence, people using a wheelchair. people with joint problems, reduced vision and pregnant women.

• Due to many sharp items (such as stones and broken glass) on the beach of Los Machos, the use of water shoes is highly recommended.

• The use of a safety/floating vest and lanyard cord is mandatory (these are provided by Skidddle Jetski  (included in the price of the tour)).

• Maximum allowed weight of 2 persons on 1 Jet Ski: 352 lbs.

• ​​​All participating guests are required to sign a Release of Liability Agreement Waiver and Rental Agreement.

• By signing of this agreement, all participants will agree to the adhere to the following rules:​​​

  • All participating guests will navigate carefully and with respect for the sea and its inhabitants.

  • ​​​All participating guests will always stay within the field of vision of the tour guide and follow directions. 

  • ​​​All participating guests will stay away from swimmers.

  • ​​​All participating guests will maintain when sailing at high speed, at least 100 ft. between other watercraft.

  • ​All participating guests will maintain a minimum distance to the beach of 200 ft.

  • When approaching shore, ​​​all participating guests will approach slowly.

  • ​All participating guests will keep enough distance between others and any obstacles such as other boats, rocks, the coast, and the guide. When deciding on the appropriate distance, ​​​All participating guests will take into account the unpredictable effect of waves which may pick up the Jet Ski and take it into unexpected directions.

  • ​All participating guests will take into account the unpredictable effect of unexpected movements from other participants.

  • ​All participating guests will limit and adjust the speed so that each driver is in a position to respond in a timely manner to unexpected events such as vulnerable swimmers that are snorkeling in the dark blue part of the sea.

  • ​All participating guests will also request and ensure that others in their company will follow the safety rules. In case the rules are violated, the guest agrees that participation will be terminated immediately without refund of money already paid.

• By signing of the release of liability agreement, all participants will also agree to the process how Skidaddle Jetski handles any penalties related to not following the rules or any costs associated to damages to Skidaddle Jetski rental equipment.

 

• All participating guests authorize Skidaddle Jetski rentals to determine whether any damage to "Skidaddle Jetski Rentals" equipment (identified during- or after the Jet Ski tour) is new or pre-existing and authorize Skidaddle Jetski Rentals to determine the cost to repair any identified damage.

• Skidaddle Jetski Rentals provides private tours only. All participating guests agree that their private group will be considered one entity by Skidaddle Jetski Rentals. In case Skidaddle Jetski Rentals identifies a new damage, all participating guests authorize Skidaddle Jetski Renttals to charge them the deposit that was provided by all group members. This would be irrespective of which member of the group is believed to be responsible for the damage. This includes damages that were caused by unfortunate mistake such as turning the Jet Ski upside down. All participating guests authorize the full deposit of their group to be charged when rules are violated or when instructions from the guide are not followed (by any member in the group).

• All participating guests are aware that the total cost to repair certain damages can be higher than the amount that was provided as a deposit by the private group (some large damages can exceed 7000 USD per Jet Ski). All participating guests agree to pay, immediately after the tour, for the estimated excess cost to repair the damages.

• If at a later date, Skidaddle Jetski Rentals determines that the actual cost to repair the damage is higher than initially estimated (and sufficient evidence is provided of the unforeseen extra costs), all participating guests authorize Skidaddle Jetski Rentals to charge them for these additional costs.

• All participating guests agree to pay for the damage that they (or any member in their group) caused to third parties.

• All participating guests will not raise any disputes.
